Sunday is all about the simple things for me. I nice morning cuppa, a casual scrambled eggs and salmon brunch, some cosy movies or shopping and a nice big sunday dinner. Oh and don’t forget the simple comfy outfit – no over dressing or fussing about. Leggings and a casual T will do.
This sunday is no different, and boy do I need it. My plan today is to barely even leave the house (bar my drive back to London tonight). I’ve had a humungous lie in today (1130am – eek) and so Jase and I are planning to spend today food shopping and prepping a big family dinner for this evening – a sort of pre Christmas celebration as I won’t see his family until after boxing day now. I can’t wait.
. Gina Tricot Blouse (old) . AX Paris Platforms . Tights (M&S for those who ask) .
Naturally I’ve opted for a low key outfit – tights and my Gina Tricot burgundy blouse. I’ve nipped on my AX Paris platforms as they truly are so comfy but I can assure you when I’m back from shopping my fluffy socks will be going straight on. I picked this top up from Gina Tricot about 3 years ago and still really love it now. It’s so easy to wear, but you can style it up or down dependent on the look you are going for.
Also – on a totally separate note, I always get loads of emails about what tights I wear as they’re always so dark / thick. Basically I don’t specifically shop anywhere for them, but chances are they’re M&S or something of the like. But the main thing I always pick is the highest denier possible – it just means they’ll look really black and thick in colour which I much prefer in tights.
I’m also hoping to get a couple of outfit pictures done today of looks that I’ve worn this weekend – it rained all day yesterday so I didn’t get a chance, but hopefully I can recreate them and persuade Jase to take a few pics. Wish me luck :)
