Here’s a little summer outfit post from the weekend, now I should probably admit, this outfit was a little bit of an accidental piece of work, I hadn’t actually quite realised how awesome this jumper and dress duo was – it was initially a practical pairing. doh. Leaving at 6am in the morning for a car boot sale is a tricky affair, you know it’s due to be 26 degrees, but at 6 it’s just still a little nippy. I grabbed this jumper as I was running out the house just in case I got cold, and well who knew – it’s the perfect marriage.

Admission number 2, I stole this dress from my sister in my hasty getting ready process. An AX Paris number, and it’s just so easy to slip on and roll with. no fuss. I teamed it with my (quelle surprise) new H&M shoes and Necklace, I really do just love them.
These sunglasses are actually a find of mine from the car boot sale – £2.50 and apparently a 70’s original. Even If I got done over (I’ve since been told £2.50 is not a bargain at a carboot sale) I bloomin’ love them anyway and am so glad I found them. They’re really retro cool and well worth £2.50 in my eyes.
Here’s a few snaps from the day, the early morning bacon bap and BBQ treasure hunting, followed by a yummy lunch and glass of vino in Winchester and a cute little BBQ in the evening.
Needless to say I was utterly shattered after all this, a 6am rise does not bode well for me. My sister took these pics of us while we were fast asleep in the garden, haha.
What do you think of my laid back look? I do love it when the sun comes out, everything is just so much more effortless and simple :) I hope the sunshine stays for the Jubilee weekend.
