I’ve been meaning to post this outfit for AGEs, just like I’ve been meaning to wear this skirt for ages too. I picked it up from the H&M conscious collection a few months ago. I absolutely adore this skirt, it’s so pretty and feminine and fits like a total dream. BUT it’s one of those items that you challenge yourself with the ‘yeah, but, are you going to wear it’ debate. I was ‘umming and arring’ for ages in the changing room, I was loving it but not totally sure, until I saw the price tag. FIFTEEN POUNDS. I literally still can’t believe how much of a bargain this was.
I’ve been really loving all the lace shorts and skirts that are on the high street at the moment. Whilst this isn’t quite on par with the cream lace style that’s everywhere, it’s my own little pink girly twist on it. I still do want THE Zara lace skirt , one day i’ll bite the bullet and give in, but for now this makes a cute alternative.

Because this skirt is so feminine I decided to style it to it’s extreme, candy cotton killer heels and a lemon sherbet ditsy blouse. Very girly right? It’s funny seeing myself with quite so much makeup on too, I’m getting much more accustomed to a more natural look recently, less heavy eye liner and shadows, so this feels a bit drag queen haha.
Well what would you know, it’s almost the weekend already, I could so get used to this. Tonight i’m out for dinner in London after work with my friends and tomorrow off to Bristol for the first time in what seems like YONKS. I’m going to drag Jase to this amazing outlet he discovered (he’ll regret that soon), stocking fab designers in a gorgeous country setting out in Shepton Mallet – It’s called Kilver Court and it’s next to the Mulberry outlet (conveniently).
