There is nothing like sunshine and seaside to diminish your woes, mend your heart and heal your bruises. The seaside is close to my heart, as a child I frequented it often and having always lived close to the sea, and been to uni at the seaside, returning to it always makes me feel happy and content.
. Bank Swallow Print Dress . Topshop Denim Shirt . H&M Suede Sandals . Primark Necklace .
This outfit is simple and relaxed, just what you need when your chilling in the fresh sea air and lapping up the sun rays. I turned to my Bank swallow print dress, it’s a very light weight dress and with it’s open back it’s perfect for keeping you cool yet chic in this weather. A trusty denim shirt to finish it off, along with my new favourite H&M sandals.
A few little pictures from my trip to the seaside, beautiful boats and the view of the IOW, pimms and salad and ‘dipping my toes in’. These are some of the things that make me super happy :)
This weekend I haven’t be doing all that much, but I finally ventured out and helped my friend (Blueotober) with a car boot sale. It was really nice getting out and I loved the car boot – I managed to pick up some 70’s tortoise shell shades which are awesome :) I felt like a little kid full of excitement hunting round trying to find gems.
As the weather was doing us so well we also had lunch out (and a cheeky little pop into Primark) and then a lovely BBQ with my friends in the evening. Yummy food and company. I got a great maxi skirt and sun hat, and a pretty cold necklace – post to come.
Today my sister is finally having her afternoon tea party after having to postpone it last sunday, so lot’s of cake for me today :) I’m also heading back to London and to reality after a week of recuperation.
What do you think of this very relaxed, seaside ready, look? Do you like my new H&M sandals? Also if you enjoy my blog it’d mean the world if you’d nominate me for best new fashion blog or Next new comer in the Cosmo Blog awards (click here).
