A week or so ago now one of my favourite makeup brands, Benefit, held a special blogging event for their new Christmas range. I was invited to attend and I was totally over the moon. As is always the case with your ‘most want to attend’ events I wasn’t around to make it (I was is Oslo so I can’t complain too much), BUT I was a tres gutted to miss out on getting a sneak peak at some new special Christmas sets.
But to my utter relief last week Benefit offered a WHOPPING 30% off all their amazing products, and FREE delivery too. Well as you know I have no self control and even less when discount is involved so I decided to stock up and try the new Christmas range that I’d missed out seeing.
Initially I was just planning on buying Boi-ing and Hoola, my two benefit essentials, full price this is about £40. Then I realised that actually the special ‘Boxing Day Beauty’ set included my dearest Hoola AND ‘Some Kinda Gorgeous’ which is a concealer (does the same job in my mind lol) but not only that you also got a mini Bad Gal Lash & High beam too all for £44. Total bargain if you ask me. Add my 30% off and this Christmas set cost me £30.80 … yay!
So there it is, another little bargain I’ve managed to bag myself this Christmas. I’m a loyal user of Hoola and Bad Gal Lash, and most people have tried these, however High Beam and ‘Some Kinda Gorgeous’ are new to my collection, so maybe i’ll do a follow up blog testing these little treats?
