Outfit

WHITE STRIPES

September 9, 2014

. ZARA WHITE SKINNY TROUSERS .

I’ve become a bit of a trouser lover ever since my first pair of cigarette trousers earlier this spring. I’ve spent many an hour admiring people rocking the androgynous look and styling up a variety of cigarette trouser style and i’ve given it a go myself many a time (just browse my outfit pages for proof), but it’s fair to say that the skinny fit is still a cut I feel a little more comfortable in, it’s a little more suited to my curvy figure & I find styling a skinny far more effortless. Well at least that’s the excuse I told myself when I found these white jodhpur style skinny fit trousers in Zara last week.

. ZARA WHITE TROUSERS . ZARA PATENT PUMPS . FRENCH CONNECTION BRETON TOP .
. CELINE NANO . ASOS FEDORA .

These trousers won instant brownie points for three reasons, they’re white, they’re skinny fit, they’re thick … thick enough to ensure no VPL, no see through moments & also thick enough to really flatter your figure (no white legging risk here). I’d been thinking about buying a pair of white skinny jeans for a little while, but actually these chic pantaloons were actually a total gem. They fit absolutely perfectly & have a high waist cut which I absolutely loved.  I teamed them with my breton top from French Connection & my Zara patent pumps this weekend, the pumps, Celine Nano & my fedora gave the look a rather chic finishing touch. This is going to become a favourite ‘work look’ for me I can tell already, super simple but extremely comfy & easy going.

Are you a fan of the trouser? What cut will you be sporting this season – flare, skinny, cigarette or even the culotte?
