. EMBRACING THAT 70’S STYLE, IN MY OWN SUBTLE WAY .
I’ve got a little love hate relationship with the 70’s, well 70’s style more specifically, whilst I appreciate the era and the icons that came out of it, sometimes I find the clothes a little over the top. Fortunately this seasons modern take on the 70’s is right up my street, more subtle, slightly toned down, but inspired by the 70’s colour palette, bold cuts and shapes and somewhat frivolous and playful vibes. I’ve been navigating my own way around the high streets interpretation of modern 70’s trends, and found myself head over heels with suede, rich browns and of course the high waist cut.

SHOP MY 70’s EDIT
This outfit sums up my take on the 70’s trend quite perfectly. You won’t see me in flares or bell sleeve billowing blouses, but you will find me in one of my many suede skirts, my burgundy, deep green and rich brown colour palette and a solid heeled ankle boot. It’s a subtle take on the 70’s, a more toned back, and inspired style rather than a dupe!
Are you a fan of the 70’s, how are you embracing this seasons modern day take on the style?

I agree with you on 70’s style, I’ve never been a fan either but I love this sort of look!

Great outfit dear. Those Topshop boots are indeed magnificent! My favourite style from the 70’s is the wide legged pants. Looks great paired with a flowy top of a structured top. Very versatile and can be taken into the modern day easily :)
