. CHRYSLER YPSILON ‘DARE TO BE DIFFERENT’ WITH STYLIST .
I’m back home and settling in after my weekend away in Oslo with the girls. It was a break well needed and taking time out to have a little me time is something I need to do more of, especially when work life can be so busy.
Spending time with the girls is always so much fun and full of laughs and this weekend was no different, we had plenty of barbecues, prosecco and fun in Oslo, and the atmosphere was great thanks to amazing sunshine and Norway Day on the 17th.
I decided to also use the mini break to take some time out from my day to day routine and add a bit of adventure to my daily life. Fortunately Chrysler had the same idea when launching their new campaign to support the Chrysler Ypsilon (which is super cute) and asked me to get involved*. They’re supporting the model with their Dare to Be Different ‘Vice or Virtue’ campaign with Stylist magazine this month. The campaign is running all of May and into June and every day there’s a new challenge published on Stylists website (check it out here), tasking you with a Vice or Virtue ‘dare’.
The challenges range from adding a little spice to your usual daily life (like singing in the shower vs singing in the street) to bigger tasks to really step change your day (like asking for a promotion or even quitting work and starting your dream career). The best thing is that Chrysler have partnered with other brands to provide fab prizes for every challenge, like VIP nights out or gift cards to go the cinema etc. Every prize relates to the task in hand, and seeing as there’s a task everyday there’s lots of opportunities to win.
Myself and the girls have already taken part in two of Chryslers challenges since the campaign with stylist launched. Yesterday we embraced Chryslers ‘virtue’ challenge by going makeup free all day, it’s not something I ever do normally but I have to say it was quite liberating and by the end of the day I was feeling far more accustomed to my makeup free face. On Friday we also took on another virtue challenge, spending out first night in Oslo pampering ourselves ready for the weekend ahead (And Norway Day celebrations on the 17th), we manicured and pedicure, caught up on our fave mags and spent the evening treating ourselves to some well deserved TLC (The Ypsilon campaign gave me the perfect excuse to use some of my favourite pamper products too) . The prize for this challenge was a VIP night at Mahiki which would be fab, and our bare faced day could have won us a years supply of StIves goodies … Not bad eh.
So far I’ve embarked on two virtue challenges, so I’m pushing myself to step up a bit and take part in two vice challenges over the next week or so! I’ll be checking stylist daily to see what the new vice or virtue challenges are, I’m excited to see what I may end up doing!!
Have you checked out Chryslers new campaign or taken on any of the vice or virtue dares? Let me know which ones you’ve tried and importantly if you’ve won any prizes yet?
