. THE BENEFIT EDIT .
I wasn’t joking when I said I tend to buy myself as much presents at Christmas as I buy my family … without ever intending to, i always end up treating myself to a few festive treats. If there’s one time of year to do it, it’s Christmas.
This week Benefit took a trip to my office at work and set up a little pop up shop with all their best products and a cheeky 15% discount. I didn’t need anything particularly, but on walking past this little pop up store there was no way I could resist picking up a few bits.
. Hello Flawless Powder Foundation – Honey £25.50 .
The first thing I picked up to give a little try for the first time is this ‘Hello Flawless’ powder foundation. I don’t use liquid foundation anymore and choose to stick to tinted moisturiser and bronzer for my face makeup as I find it works best for my skin type. Having said that, I have tried my friends bare minerals powder foundations and love how light they are on your skin, yet give an almost flawless finish to your makeup. So after a little sales from the Benefit beauty artist I decided i’d give this a go, I picked up the colour ‘Honey’ & so far am really enjoying this product.
. Benetint £24.50.
Bene-tint is one my favourite Benefit products (along with Hoola and They’re Real), it’s not something I often treat myself too given it’s not a beauty essential and it is rather expensive for what it is. But when I do feel a little frivolous this is the first thing on my list. Benetint is a real favourite of mine for lips, I do wear lipstick on special occasions, but I love using Benetint for a more every day lip colour. The stain creates a really beautiful natural red colour, almost Snow White style, it’s a flushed stain and if i’m really feeling it, i’ll dab it on my cheeks too for a natural flush kind of look.
. They’re Real £19.50 .
They’re Real is hands down my favourite Mascara. Over the years I’ve tried A LOT and I have to say for me, They’re Real ticks all my boxes. It’s my every day mascara that I use and always try and pick it up Duty Free when I’m travelling. It’s extremely black, curls and extends my lashes and really does what it says on the tin … (makes it look almost too good to be real). On special events when I really pile my Mascara on, friends have even thought I’ve been wearing fake lashes. So for me, this was an easy purchase, a long time favourite of mine (you can check out a previous review I did here)!
So there you have it … my very own little stocking fillers. To me, love me x
Are you a fan of benefit makeup products? What are your favourite products, have you tried any of my picks?
