. Jarlo Evening Dress . Boden Saint Germain Coat . Marni x H&M Heels .
It’s getting to that time of year when festive party invites will be flying through the letterbox, just like they did in Harry Potter. But with those invites comes some serious outfit and party dress planning … and some winter weather obstacles to overcome. We all want to wear our favourite party frock, but the balance of keeping warm and looking chic is a challenge we all face every year.
The dress in todays outfit post is a little teaser of a party frock outfit which i’ll be sharing soon, but I thought today i’d focus on the outerwear part. The new ‘in thing’ to do is clearly draping a coat over your shoulders, whether that be a chic fur number or a more practical warm number, draping a coat over yourself is one way to keep the chill at bay but still look chic (and channel in your inner ‘yacht club look darling’).
My Boden Saint Germain coat is a real favourite of mine and i think it looks suitably decadent styled with this very special Jarlo number.
Are you looking forward to the festive party season? How will you be keeping warm in your LBD’s this Christmas?
