LFW: WHAT I WORE

September 18, 2013

. LFW LATE ARRIVAL .

Being a fully time working girl I didn’t really get a chance to embrace LFW this year, in fact I missed a ton of events and shows which I’d have absolutely loved to attend, but sadly time didn’t quite allow it. However I didn’t want to go a whole season without at least popping down to Somerset House for a quick nosy – so after work Monday I crossed the river and took a little stroll around.
I got to somerset house about 6pm so it was basically bare with barely any fashionista’s strutting their stuff. Monday was also the Burberry show so most of the celebs i’d have been spying were tucked away on the FROW.
. H&M Print Trousers (old) . Knomo Oldbury Bag £179 c/o . Brandy Melville Cami £18 .
. Miss Selfridge Ankle Boots £60 (sale £30) . Anthropologie Watch £60 . Warehouse Coat £80 .
Ph c/o Kat

As I headed down to LFW straight from work, my outfit isn’t wacky or ‘all out there’ – which to be fair I much prefer. I don’t really like the LFW trend of dressing yourself in an outfit that you’d never usually wear, but because it’s fashion week you decide you’ll just pretend your Lady Gaga or Rihanna for a week. In my opinion LFW should be about personal style and not pretending your someone your not.

My outfit for LFW was also what I wore to work that day (albeit I added a jumper for work). The best thing about my look in my opinion is actually that it was my first debut of my new Knomo Oldbury bag – which since receiving this as an amazing gift, I’ve used daily! It’s a gorgeous design and also super functional (designed to hold an ipad), it’s definitely become my new everyday satchel!

What do you think of my LFW outfit? Are you a fan of Fashion Week, what’s your opinion on dressing for the occasion?

LFW was just amazing for looking at everyones fashion, think I prefer watching everyones street style more that the actual shows! I love these cream boots, I have a similar pair in tan but want this to add to my ever growing boot collection too!

I think you defo have to go to fw dressed for the occasion, which you did, your outfits lovely but I would never be brave enough to wear the trousers, (wouldn’t suit me) I ❤ the coat, you looked lovely
