Hai Hai. Today i’m jetting off to Sweden for three days with work, a perk (and stress) of my job Is that I get to work across and lead the media planning across Northern European for my client Johnson and Johnson. It’s a hefty task but I love that I get to travel as part of my job now.
Todays outfit post features a new dress I treated myself to from Topshop in the last few weeks, but is also something i’ve been wearing all the time to work (and this weekend) as it’s a great loose cut but creates a perfect smart casual work look when styled with some sandals or ankle boots.

I wore this outfit on Saturday whilst shopping in London and having dinner out in Chiswick with my family and Jase. It’s a really comfortable dress given the style and worked really well for a day to night transition. I styled the dress with some old tan ankle boots and my Mulberry satchel bag (not in the pics sadly), I also wore my Urban Outfitters necklace which goes perfectly with this kind of neckline.
The dress was £46, which for Topshop is kind of standard these days (how much have their prices gone up? ouch). For me it’s really worth it though as this kind of dress is something I wear both for work days and weekends, plus I think it’s something i’ll live in this winter styled with tights and chunky ankle boots.

Topshop prices have SO gone up, I seriously have not been enjoying this recent hike in prices! That said I do love this dress Mel, so versatile for work and play.

Anything that can also be worn with opaques during colder weather is worth paying for. Gorgeous dress – would look so cute with a shirt under it too.
