“Hopelessly reaching Out for this girl, Who’s out of this world. Believe me”.
. HAUL PART I .
Forgive me, I couldn’t stop myself. Good old Mc Fly, anyway, recently i’ve been … SHOPPING. I say shopping but really it’s a mixture of shopping and presents that makes up this post, but nonetheless each and every item in this little round up causes mass excitement deep in my belly.
First up, a few new ‘beauty’ orientated treats. Kicking off with my new OPI polish that I treated myself too from Amazon. I had this colour – My Paprika is Hotter Than Yours – in a manicure not long ago and instantly fell in love with it and wanted it for my own collection. It comes our a gorgeous fiery orange / red shade, perfect for spring.
I also wanted to share with you my new makeup bag from the amazing designer SewLomax. Now first off my family is fully of seamstress’s – by that I mean my mum is a dress maker (and all round amazing sewer so basically can do ANYTHING to perfection) and my sister is doing a degree in textiles and is incredible at free stitch and knitting. What this means is that I’ve grown up appreciating embroidery and quality made products.
When Melissa (same name bonding) at SewLomax got in touch and asked if i’d like to check out the range i was immediately impressed – not only by the fact the pieces are unique but also because they picked up on social queues (I’m thinking of the ‘poo bag’ here) and were perfectly designed for their uses. I was lucky enough to get to pick a product and I instantly fell for this makeup / wash bag, what with my never ending traveling around the south west of England (I live in London, From Winchester, Boyfriend in Bristol) having a pretty wash bag to transport my life around makes it a little more pleasant. I was absolutely over the moon when it arrived, quality, unique and a perfect size.
I’ve checked out the SewLomax products since, and was pleasantly surprised to see that each item now available is new, and again, unique. I’d thoroughly recommend checking it out, whether its a treat for yourself or a present (they’d make great presents). I personally love the pouches, perfect for carrying makeup in your handbag. They’ve even got a camera bag holder!! so cute.
. Herbal Aloe Strengthening Shampoo & Conditioner c/o .
I’m also lucky enough to be trying out some new Shampoo and Conditioner from Herbal Aloe, their coined as wonder products especially designed to strengthen and repair your hair. I’m super excited to give them a go and hopefully see some results, making my hair ready for summer curls and natural styling. As my hair is highlighted, finding good repair products is always on my mind and I’m really excited to have the chance to try these out. I’ll most likely do a full product review on these once i’ve had a chance to test them out properly …
Phew, that was a pretty long round up. I actually have a few more bits to share, but I thought I’d do a Part II tomorrow on those bits which are more lifestyle focussed :)
What do you think of my new items? Have you tried Herbal Aloe or the new Spring OPI polish? What do you think of my gorgeous new SewLomax makeup bag?
