The Little White Dress

Thank goodness it’s Friday, right? And a bank holiday too. I definitely can’t wait for a 3 day weekend and some serious chilling, in the sun I hope. But Bank holiday weekends also tend to mean a couple of drinks out with friends to celebrate the extra day to recover from the world class hangover. So in the spirit of bank holiday partying, today’s post is a the perfect night out look, featuring a LWD …
Clearly there’s nothing like an LBD, but actually when the sun starts shining, and we start to get that tan we’ve been longing for for the last 6 months, a little WHITE dress is, for me, a welcome addition to my wardrobe. So when I received this little white dress from fashion brand Hedonia, which by the way, I love, I was super excited to wear it out and and also really excited to add something a little different to my wardrobe.

The great thing about this dress, is not only is it an LWD, it’s also totally embracing team SS13 Monochrome. Monochrome is clearly a big hit on the trend charts this year and this dress adapts the style perfectly. It’s not OTT (no wacky monochrome prints) but it’s super sleek, and actually quite smart. The black panel sides add a real chic edge to this dress, making it far more standout than it would if it was purely white. I think it looks great styled very simply with a pair of nice black heels (for me my Marni ones), and some simple accessories (chunky earings and bracelets go perfectly).
