On Sunday Jase and I went for a stroll around Bath to pick up a birthday present for me from his family and also to grab some brunch. We always like to park by Victoria park as it makes for a really nice walk into Bath town center PLUS is super pretty for outfit posts (alternative agenda, ahem). it was a really low key day, and this was my outfit for the occasion:
The dress is my new Motel Rocks acid wash Penny dress which I picked up from Topshop last week. It’s an item I’d spent ages debating buying, and even missed out on 25% off as I thought it was too short, but after actually trying it on, I deemed it perfect and whipped it up immediately. I’ve only had this dress a week and this was the 3rd outfit I’ve worn it with. Firstly I wore it for our cocktail night in Nice 9with my gorgeous Topshop sandals), secondly I wore it for dinner Saturday night (repeating the exact same outfit as Nice) and Sunday I opted for a more casual look, with converse and my new topshop cream leather jacket.
. Motel Rocks Penny Dress £42 . Topshop Cream Leather Jacket £58 .
. Brit-Stitch Satchel £70 c/o . Converse .
Despite my initial concerns about the length of this dress, actually I had no reason to worry at all. I’m 5ft6 and the dress fits like a dream (I have an XS). Yes it’s short, but it’s in no way inappropriately short which is what I was worried about. It’s going to be one of my staple go to dresses I can tell already. It looks fab dressed up and down and I love how effortless it is in style. For this look my (hideously matching) converse and jacket were great partner pieces, I am loving my new leather jacket which I got for my birthday. I had to swap it for a smaller size and now it’s the perfect fit.
What do you think of my new Motel dress and the casual styling of this outfit? I’ll be sharing the more dressy look soon too :)

I always park by Victoria Park as well when popping into Bath (I only live up the road) but the other perk of parking there is it’s FREE, lol :D It’s soooo expensive to park at the Southgate centres car park as we found out a couple of weeks ago :D Pretty dress by the way.
