Lace on Lace

Prepare yourself for some lace overload folks, this outfit post is lace all over. Now we’ve seen double denim, double print, and now it’s time for double lace. After being sent this gorgeous lace skirt from AX Paris, I was desperate to team it with a subtle cute bra let style top. Given the skirt is very fitted and high waist, I thought it’d make the perfect companion for an evening out outfit.

Sadly for me, the top I was dreaming up in my head doesn’t yet belong to me. I was thinking a very fitted charcoal grey t-shirt material crop top (It think Topshop do these), anyway, as I didn’t have one, my sister came to hand and lent me this lace cropped top, which I think she DIY’d a little while ago. It’s a little racy as an outfit, but I think it works pretty well.

I teamed the skirt and top with my new Tribeca nude heels, which are so cute, and a little of the JC styling. I’m really loving nude shoes right now, I think they’re so pretty and do look fab with tanned pins (I hope to have a pair of those soon after my holiday).

Today is my last day off work before heading back to london, and after a very rainy day at Bournemouth beach yesterday, I think today may be spent a little more cosy at home. Jase and I may bake a cake and watch a movie, a super chilled day, prepping me for a very busy return to work.
