Having mentioned orange garments provide me with a little unease and an additional obstacle in my already below bar colour coordination skills, I thought it worth confirming that coral on the other hand, is like my wing man, robin to my bat man, meatball to my spaghetti, Clegg to my Cameron. Ahem, you get the picture, I like coral.
Having spied these cheeky little H&M shorts about 2 months ago, they left me with a little niggling mark in my mind. I tried them on, loved them, but decided they were a tad skimpy, and that for £20 I should probably be sensible (BORING). So sadly, my far less fun side took control and I departed without these little beauts. Fast forward 2 months and H&M throw a little 50% off partaaaay, and well what would you know, these little butt revealing shorts were now a measly £10. Clearly the devil in me won and the angel was sent packing, banished, and never to return (I always end up buying things no matter how hard I try not to).
Anyway, I got carried away, these new little shorties are definitely not work suitable (despite my ‘classy’ styling) as they are a little short, but absolutely perfect for a sunny weekend or summer holiday. They’re actually super comfy too as the chiffon / cotton design is super light weight and a little floaty.
I decided to hit this look with a double coral wammy and throw my peachy blazer into the mix too … i personally feel it goes swell. As a whole the outfit is like a weekend short suit … genius.
Tonight I’m off to Richard Branson’s Wimbledon launch party with the WIWT ladies Poppy and Lucy. Super excited and shall be reporting back on the celebrity insider goss :) Tomorrow I’m of to IOW too so I’ll be a little quieter on the blog front BUT fear not I’ve scheduled some posts and you can keep up with me on twitter and instagram – mediamarmalade

I bought these shorts for full price (I do get 25% off too being an employee of H&M), then realised that they went in the sale online for half the price! I was gutted but I adore my shorts!!
