Starry Eyed Surprise

I’ve been thinking recently how much I want to get back into wearing dresses, I went through a stage of just living in them daily to more recently becoming fixated on jeans, in every colour imaginable. Whilst there’s no denying my love for jeans and a pretty blouse I did feel it was about time I started sporting my day dresses a little more.

I love browsing all the ‘new in’ sections of websites and especially love it when you get to pick something as a gift :) Alongside my floaty spring dress I featured a week or so ago (here), I also got this really cute star print dress which I just loved on the models in the picture. It’s a really simple skater cut dress, but has an open back detail and is star print. Weirdly I really am not much of a fan of white stars on black items, however I think this print is very subtle and because of the design of the dress actually looks quite cool.
It was a no brainer that I’d style this with my amazing Marni heels – aghh I heart you heels – and my leather jacket finished the look off perfectly. What I love about this look is it’s day time perfection, but add some red lippy and your heels and you make that evening transition swimmingly.
I also got sent this lovely little Montagne Jeunesse pamper set the other day which given i’m bed ridden recovering right now is just perfect. It’s their ‘beauty travel’ set and basically covers off all the bases, hair, skin, face, hydration so is the perfect accompaniment on your summer hols (it’s super small and compact too). I used the passion peel off face mask last night which was such a funny experience – you look like you’ve had some serious botox when it’s on, but peeling it all off is such an awesome sensation. You can pick it up on their website and it’s all super natural ingredients so good for you veggies too.

On a little end note – halleluja to this sunshine, it’s finally coming out to play, at last. I can now start wearing all my new summer items and ditch the black tights once and for all :D

    Oh my gosh your hair is so pretty! I am slowly going blonde and I get so envious when I see someone with a lovely color like yours! :) It makes me anxious!

    Love that dress. I need to start wearing more, as well. I’m stuck in a shorts and tights rut… I should invest in some pretty frocks for summer!
