Gaudi’s Imagination

Olla mon copains, ca va? I think we all need to take a little moment pre this post to mourn the loss of my gorgeous coral zebra scarf. £18 of warmth, trend and just cosiest lost on the streets of Barcelona, and no longer my go to wardrobe essential. Sob. Sob. Rest in peace dear one. Devestating I know, I am still not fully over my loss, but let’s treat this Barcelona outfit post as a tribute to my wing ‘man’ scarf.

Now let’s crack on :) Here’s another of my Barcelona outfits for our tourist exploring day trips. This outfit features a few of my faves, firstly (and obviously) my scarf, secondly my trust old leather jacket, thirdly my cute horsy print shirt my sister got me for Christmas but also FOURTHLY, my new glittery H&M ankle boots. They are soo glam it’s un true. I’m sure I probably looked like a little bit of a doofus, but oh my I love them.

These pictures are brought to you from two of Barcelona’s most amazing tourist attractions and achritecutral masterpieces (jase would be so proud – he’s just finishing a masters in architecture) – both these works of literal art in imagination brought to us by the wonderful Gaudi. Who, I learnt, tragically died in a tram accident before getting to finish his Familia de Sagrada masterpiece (the Gaudi Cathedral to us humble British folk), hence the cranes and WIP building work going on. The Parc Gruel was just amazing, it felt like you were walking in the land of Hansel & Grettel with ginger bread houses and funky little pieces of your imagination built and decorated all over the park. Quite mind boggling.

On an utterly separate note, wow to reaching 600 followers. I know this may be relatively small in the bloggers world, but OMG it sure as hell feels awesome. I’m so glad so many of you take the time to read my wee blog and check out my outfits, genuinely means THE WORLD :D Secondly, I have some super exciting things coming up on me old bloggy soon, and hopefully can treat you lovely readers – keep your eyes peeled as I’ll be posting something tres bon shortly.
