The Leather Look

I seem to have cycles of wearing the same item of clothing on repeat. I become obsessed with it and seem to find a use for it in every outfit I wear. My Zara jacket is the latest obsession and I seem to be wearing it with everything, the fortunate thing being that it actually seems to go with a lot of things too.

At the weekend I love wearing my leather trousers, I haven’t braved these for a work look yet and so always make the most of the weekend for getting wear out of them.  I love them styled down for a casual weekend look and I paired them recently with my new topshop tshirt and Zara blazer. The Tshirt is an £18 jobby from Topshop and is great for an effortless kind of look. The jacket went perfectly, giving it a slightly dressier edge and the leather patches subtly matched the trousers too.

I’ve been using this new Peach Pink bag loads recently. I have a fair few Mulberry’s which I usually use day in day out, but it’s nice to mix things up every now and then and this bag is a perfect day bag for work and weekends. I find it really comfy to carry and it fits all my usual junk and it’s easy to keep leather looking new and fresh. I carry an extreme amount and always end up with bad shoulder ache.

Talking about carrying a lot (a tenacious link) but I’m actually looking at holidays at the moment for March – April time (and always pack too much naturally). I have 10 days booked off and am hoping to have a really relaxing break (ideally including sun). My friend Zoe and I are planning our trip at the moment, debating Morocco, LA, Dubai and the like. In my searches I’ve come across an amazing website called Achica which actually has some amazing 5* holidays for fabulous discounts. Think luxury hotels in gorgeous resorts with 30% discount. It’s been a real revelation, Jase and I have even been browsing for last minute ski holidays too. The nice thing about it is that the holidays available aren’t just cheapy 1* hotels in the middle of no where – it’s a real luxury offering. Achica also have loads of designer home wear and fashion goods too – naturally I got distracted looking at Gucci sunnies with £30+ off. I’ve registered now for their weekly updates, as the offers available are always changing.
