I’ve become a big fan of lipstick, gone are my gloss days, now all I want is bright ‘colour pop’ lips. The high street is full of amazing affordable lipsticks in a vast array of amazing bold colours at the moment and almost every fashionista and A list celeb is rocking the vampy lip look. Adding a splash of colour to your lips is a really simple way of dressing up an outfit, stepping up your look from day to night, and also a really easy way to add a little glam to your style. I love these celebrity looks and the colours they’ve chosen. I have a few lipsticks I love already, my Barry M bright pink lipstick is fab for festival couture, and I have some pretty Bobby Brown & Benefit pinky / red lipsticks too. But I’ve also just discovered Chanel’s new Rouge Coco range. You may have seen the adverts with Sophie Dahl? Well anyway, I’m a fan. Whilst duty free shopping at the airport this weekend I tested the range and absolutely love the colours they have on offer … I tested no31 and thought it looked fab, lasted an age and it’s not too much money either (£23 per lipstick). Another thing to add to my Christmas wishlist.

I really want a dark purple one but I’m not sure if i’m ballsy enough to go out wearing that yet… may just stick to a dark red for the meantime!XO

I tend to stick to the same colour of lipstick (a slighty-darker-than-my-natural-lips red). Pink lipstick just doesn’t suit me at all. I’d be interested to see whether I changed my mind with more high-end products though.

LOVE Chanel lipsticks, especially the bright pink ones.
