Give Me a Wedge

Saturday night isn’t just about the X Factor and Strictly Come Dancing competitions .. oh no. It’s a fashion battle field too, obviously you have the Kelly Vs Tulisa style off (not quite as good as Dani vs Cheryl), you have Tess rocking out the latest UK fashion designers on SCD & the I’m a celeb crew not working it quite so much in the Jungle. But it’s not only the presenters these days, the X Factor contestants have been hitting the fashion world like a storm with some top high street trends. Now I’m not going to lie and say all their attempts have been successful (I’m thinking Kitty’s light up body and some terrible costumes for poor Jonny), but I do believe that Little Mix’s style has got better and better (with a couple of monumental errors on route of course).

When the girls attended the Twilight premier with mentor Tulisa a couple of weeks ago, I fell in love with Perri’s outfit (including her amazing studded shoes). The dress was very Versace inspired, which given the launch of the H&M / Versace range on the 17th Nov was pretty timely, and the gold sequin embellishment was bang on trend this winter. But it wasn’t just her dress … her shoes were incredible too and the best news of all is I’ve just discovered they are from our high street fave, Miss Selfridge (for a very reasonable £75). Guess what will be going on my Christmas list?
