It’s Christmas party season and the parties and post work drinks are rolling in. Not only have I been panicking about not having anything to wear (despite a wardrobe which is near to exploding), i’ve been wanting to glam up my makeup a little too. I tend to have a generic makeup routine and look which is ‘fine’ but now its party season I want to spice it up so it’s more than just ‘fine’. So after work today I decided to pop to Topshop and Superdrug to get some Christmas season party essentials. Naturally I accidentally spent a mini fortune … eek! But I must say I did manage to get some good items.
Firstly I picked up the Topshop leopard print collar playsuit which I posted about yesterday. I went to try it on and couldn’t believe how fab the fit and design was. Literally fitted perfectly AND it was the only size 8 left … which is totally fate. I also picked up a couple of plain tops as its getting nippy out and I need to layer up a little more. Then I hit Superdrug … this took my bank by surprise. I went in to find a dark red lipstick and ended up coming out with (drum roll)…Fuchsia pink LOreal lipstick (not red, doh), LOreal black crystal super liner, Batiste dry shampoo (morning after essential) and some E’lvive ‘hair repair’ shampoo and conditioner! I did well eh?
That lip colour is gorgeous – so pretty! x
