Eagles Nest #1

So it’s our first official day here and I’ve just got back from skiing (I AM SO COLD its -12). We were woken up by cups of tea brought to our rooms and I proceeded to breakfast on smoked salmon & scrambled eggs (with truffle oil darling). There is so much amazing cuisine to choose from, our chef has worked at the Fat Duck with Heston so is totally incredible. Tonight will be another champagne, cocktail, canape and 5 course meal filled evening. I really will be rolling home. I am totally in awe of this place, its beyond luxury (U2 stayed here not long ago). I should add we managed to get a good deal & I am being treated largely by my dad, I think the chalet is usually sold to groups for about £35k a week – which is BONKERS. But it really is luxury and is just what I needed after a manic few weeks and I am already feeling a lot perkier (unsurprisingly). Anyway I have managed to draw myself away from the champagne, sauna and hot tub to take a couple of snaps of the chalet so thought I’d share them with you all before dinner :)
