I’ve been loving playing with my new camera and am amazed with its quality and how pro all the photos look. The only annoying thing about it is that I’ve not quite worked out how to take outfit pictures with it without the trusty help of my boyfriend or family. So during the week I have to rely on my trusty digi Canon compact for outfit snaps so today’s rustic images are down to this :) Also, as I mentioned a while back I am trying to dig out all my non-new clothes from my wardrobe and start giving them a new lease of life. So today I decided to wear this very bling gold jewelled necklace, which I actually bought (rather extravagantly) for a festival a few years ago. Given all the amazing chunky and jewel laden accessories out at the moment, I felt this fitted in quite well. I also bought out my old River Island grey (ish) suede boots which I bought last year. They actually are very comfortable and look great with skinny jeans or leggins which was perfect for today’s look.

This week is a really really busy one for me, work is rather manic and I have lots to get tied up before I go on holiday this weekend. Although I can’t complain as I am so excited to go away next week and it’s really giving me a ‘light at the end of the tunnel’. I can’t wait to see our Chalet (Eagles Nest) as it’s ranked the best in the Alps. Aghhh Exciting. I’ve also got Madrid with the girls to look forward to, which is so close now. I’m also looking forward to lots of post deliveries this week, I am awaiting packages from Pop Couture (velvet skater dress), Carmine (January) and Littleblackdress (a few treats), I really hope it all arrives before I leave for skiing. AND on a final positive note, I’ve also just booked another city break to go to Barcelona in April just after my birthday with my friend Zoe which is super exciting. So despite the stressful week, I have lots of amazing things to look forward to which are keeping my smiling.
Do you have any trips or fun activities in the pipeline which you’re looking forward to? How do you manage to keep wearing all your ‘non new’ clothes? I need tips :)

Let me just say – I LOVE that necklace that you have on! I haven’t been able to take photos of myself either with my slr, so I definitely have to get someone else to help me. :)
Since I’m a college student – it’s kind of hard for me to constantly buy new clothes, so maybe if you just tell yourself that you can’t shop for more, you’ll have a tendency to try to recreate outfits. Hope this helps!
