I’ve not had much luck with sales shopping this Christmas up until now. I popped to Westfields in London & Cabots Circus in Bristol in between Christmas and New Years thinking i’d be able to find some absolute bargains. Unfortunately both experiences were unsuccessful, the shops were mayhem and even getting to a clothes rack was a mission. But even if the shops were empty and I had private store openings just for me, it seemed like half the stuff I saw on sale was really old summer stock which clearly didn’t even sell in the summer sales. So awful basically. Having said all that, online sales appeared to be a different story, I went online on Christmas eve and saw some brilliant sales stuff, I only wish I’d put in a little order then to get some of the good clothes before they all sold out. Anyway, after my initial failings, I had another little shop in Winchester and actually managed to pick up a couple of goodies from River Island and Accessorize. I also ordered this bag online from Miss Selfridge too (featured in January Wishes), although it’s not been delivered yet.

So despite my initial disappointment, I’ve managed to get a couple of sales treats after all. I’m going to have one last browse today in Southampton too, fingers crossed. Did you manage to pick up anything good in the sales this Christmas?
