Mais Oui Mon Fleur

As you’ll have seen in yesterdays blog post I finally gave in to my ‘not spending money on clothes’ lent,  I ended up getting a couple of things one of which was this floral top. If any of you were at TOWIB you’ll have seen it in the real flesh, but for everyone else, here’s a little outfit post of how I wore my new top.

I’ve not really ever worn a blouse like this before but I really liked it. You could dress it up or down dependent on what you wear with it. I wore leather trousers and my big fur gilet in an attempt to dress it down. I think it could look really cool with high wasted shorts and a leather jacket as a more dressed up look.

I had a really nice time at TOWIB yesterday, Hayley did such a good job to organise the event in her free time. It was lovely to finally meet so many bloggers that I talk to frequently on twitter and my blog. All feels a bit more real now :) Was really nice that people recognised me as ‘mediamarmalade’ and it was the best feeling hearing people say that they love my little blog. Thank you all. I had to leave at 4pm as I was dashing back for ‘Valentines’ night with my boy. We attempted to cook a lovely 4 course dinner but ended up with the starter, a huge bag of sweets and chocolate, 2 bottles of red wine and desert #success
