This is my new Monki jumper, I picked it up from the new (ish) Carnaby St store after work on thursday. They’ve got some amazing bits in their and I was quite well controlled to only walk away with this. The other item I almost purchased was an amazing pair of aqua blue cotton high waisted shorts. I wasn’t sure I was brave enough to rock them day to day (they were tight on the butt and fairly short) so I decided just to buy the jumper… for now.

It’s been a while since I wore my leather trousers, but with a casual knit like this I thought they’d do a good job of dressing it up a little. I also wore one of my original Mulberry bags, i’ve had this for 5/6 years now and I still love it. Mulberry’s classics really are just that, classic.
The weather was so miserable yesterday, it’s such a contrast to today’s glorious sunshine. Can’t wait to get out in the sun. Today we’re going to see The Wizard of Oz for my sisters Birthday, we’ll also have a stroll around town no doubt and pick up some lunch in the sunshine with my Mum for mothers day :)

Oh also, the Darwin in the title is because the original Mulberry’s were made with Darwin leather, and when I got this bag as gift from my dad on my 19th Birthday, he gave me a set of clues to work out what my pressie was, one of which was ‘Darwin’. Clever Eh.

I adore your look! That sweater looks so cozy and I love your Mulberry bag and boots. Black and brown is one of my favorite color combinations. And don’t you hate when shorts are like that? I don’t have the nice legs I used to have to be able to wear tight, short shorts! Very cute blog girl! <3
