Who says black is boring? When I put this dress on I was immediately in a fun mood. It’s so simple in design but the floaty skirt just makes you want to spin around, so that’s what I did :)

Anyone who is considering buying a tripod and remote, I couldn’t recommend it anymore, it makes taking photos so much more fun and easy. This post has to be my most exciting yet, I made use of the big trampoline in the garden to get some fun shots in the air. It really is so simple to use and the wireless remote is amazing (mine is this), it works up to 100m away and literally fucus’s and snaps it all for you. Genius if you ask me.
This dress is from Red Label and I’m really not sure why I’ve not already got a black lace dress? They’re so pretty and you can style them so easily. It’s a total wardrobe staple, doh! As we had a moment of sunshine when I took these photos I left the dress relatively un-styled with just my boots and necklace, but I’d probably add one of my blazers to this outfit for work, or a big cable knit jumper and brogues for the weekend.
So this is my penultimate day pre holiday, woo. I am off to get a full head of highlights and a cut today at Rush and also going to the dentist again to discuss some options for my toothy Pegs. I had braces for 7 years as a kid but as soon as all my wisdom teeth came down it’s just ruined my smile :( I’m hoping to get the invaslign braces (clear plastic, literally you can’t see them) and so will keep you all posted on how this goes.

We love the dress! You’re right, why don’t we all have one of these babies already? I have a plain black skater dress from Topshop but the lace is a gorgeous addition!

These photos are mint! They make me smile :) oh I always worry that my teeth are going to move as I had braces too. Since having them removed when I was 15 I think I dream that my teeth fall out atleast once a week!!

Lovely outfit as always! I know how you feel about your teeth, I had braces when I was 11 and my bottom teeth have gradually got more and more crooked. I’ve had 6 Month Smile braces on for about 7 weeks now and they’ve already made a huge difference! Plus you can’t see them which is a bonus. May be worth looking into if you want something quicker and cheaper than Invisalign. x

how do you manage to get your photos to include your whole body? i have a tripod but it’s always cutting me off in some way or another! do you have to be quite far away from the camera?

This dress is beautiful and I love the “jumping” pictures – it looks so fun! Good luck at the dentist – hope all goes okay – I have a complete fear of any dentists and will only go to the dentist I’ve seen since I was four – only trouble is, he’s back in Bath, and with me being in London, it is not ideal – god knows what I will do if he retires! xx
