Days Are Fast Approaching

Well what would you know, it’s almost the weekend already. Hooray.  I could get used to these short weeks and long weekends.  Let’s just hope the sun comes out again. I’m missing my sunshine outfits already, our quick little teaser got me in full swing for spring & summer and now it’s gone and done a runner. My floral shorts and floaty skirts feel like a dream compared to the drizzly weather and cosy warm clothing I’m wrapping up with again now.

Here’s one of my work outfits, just a simple French Connection tshirt dress bought a few years ago, teamed with my trusty old blazer and a pretty collar necklace. This blazer genuinely transforms every outfit I wear from casual to chic smart (even if I do say so myself haha). I actually got it last year for my birthday from my mumma and I wear it so much it’s unreal. I do have a fair few blazers now, in a whole array of shades, but this is my oldest and most reliable, always there to save an outfit.

I’ve also got about 8 different deliveries (and god knows how many things inside) that I’m waiting for Mr Postman to bring, so I’m going to have a busy influx of outfit styling and photo taking to share all my new goodies with you soon. This whole online shopping malarkey is surprisingly helping to soothe my inpatient streak (kind of).
Oh and on a final little note (sorry I really am rambling today) I tested out my new John Frieda lightening spray last night, and by gosh, it actually woks. I focussed the spray on my roots as they’ve started to give my game away, and by the morning it had significantly lightened my natural hair and brightened my coloured hair (very noticeably). I’m glad I invested in it now, although I’ve been advised to go easy on it, as apparently it’s quite a strong formula so can damage your hair if used too much.

    I bought the John Frieda lightening spray the other day, I’ve only used it once but very sparingly so haven’t seen any massive results yet. I have to say when I read the instructions on the back it did make me a bit scared as there was so many!
    I’ve been using the John Frieda Sheer Blonde leave in conditioner too, I think it’s got heat protection in it too and possibly lightening qualities in it, but don’t quote me on that part haha!
    Lovely outfit, still have massive shoe envy and that blazer is gorgeous xx

    I love your blogs, you always look amazing!
    Just a word of warning on the John Frieda spray front, I used this last summer and please don’t use too much. I have never dyed my hair and i had to after i used this. It left the blonde really brassy and yellow/orangeish! I think at first it was quite nice but i probably over did it!
