Outfit

Floral Blossom

April 3, 2012

Well this outfit is going to do one thing and one thing only, make us long for that warm weather again. What’s happened? I really can’t believe the change in temperature. As you may have guessed these shots were taken on the weekend (not today) and was another of my tripod attempts. I had a couple of funny looks I must say :) But genuinely i’m gutted, I had such a ‘summer’ themed bank holiday weekend planned, barge pub crawl on Friday for a friends birthday (yes really, we drive a barge and stop at pubs, amazing right), secondly I was planning on going camping in Cornwall. EEK. I’ll be packing thermals.

. Zara Pastel Blouse £49.99 . Zara Print Shorts £29.99 . Old Tunic . Zara Collar £15.99 .
. Ash Sandals £149 .Old Topshop Leather Belt .
These shorts are my lovely new purchase from Zara (I am LOVING Zara right now), I got them in my little lunch time shopping spree last week and this is the first time I’d worn them. I wasn’t too sure which way to go size wise but the women in the store assured me this was how they’re meant to fit (e.g. snug cotton shorts). They’re a reasonably length, not for work clearly, but perfect for summer weekends and holidays. I just LOVE the print.  I’ve been adoring everyone’s floral outfit posts, particularly the gorgeous new trousers and jeans you can get in this style print. This is my first step in that direction, but hopefully will find the perfect pants soon.
I’ve teamed it with a really old plan tunic top and my Zara pastel blazer to give it a totally summer look. Oh any my new collar, this was another of my splurge purchases, again from Zara. Wow, check me ha.

What do you think of these shorts and the whole floral trend? Do you think these are too short?

Love those shorts! So brave for getting your tripod out in public (ooh, err!) I worry somebody is gonna stroll into my garden whilst I’m taking photos with mine so I’m very impressed, I think I just need to grow some balls! Haha.
Lovely outfit, totally wishing the sunshine to come back although it might mean I’ll get some work done now.. (probably not though ha) xx
