It’s finally arrived, the day you’ve all been waiting for, well the day I’ve been waiting for at least anyway. MY BIRTHDAY. I have reached the ripe old age of 24, verging on a quarter of a century, and still a big kid at heart. I’ve actually been really looking forward to today, it’s the start of a week of celebrations and I do love Birthdays.
Celebrations start today when I’m being taken on a lovely lunch in Covent Garden (media jolly), followed by dinner out tonight in Chiswick with my dad. Tomorrow is my girly cocktail and dinner night in Soho with my lovely london ladies. Friday lunch is a massive treat, with a media lunch lined up in Roka (my absolute favourite restaurant) and then a trip home to finally see my boy and family where i’ll be opening up all my lovely pressies (ahem, presumptuous?). Sunday is party day, and i’m due to be hosting a big barbie with all my home friends (PLEASE WEATHER, BE GOOD TO ME). I then have all of next week and jet off to Barcelona Wednesday am for a long city break with my lovely friend Zoe. So yeah …. this is why i’ve been so excited :D
I have no clue what pressies I’m getting from Jase and my Mum etc, although I have opened my amazing pressie from my dad – the Canon F1.8 lens (and lens cover). EEEEE, so excited by this, I cannot wait to get taking some pictures with it. Keep your eyes peeled as I’ll be showcasing them soon :) Jase has also sent me a cute little birthday treat package to keep me going until my main pressie on Friday, that was a lovely surprise, can’t wait to see whats in it. He described it as ‘just a little kiss on the nose’. awww. My lovely friend Maja from Norway also sent me some treats from my fave store in Norway, Gina Tricot :)
Another major little treat was that Virgos Lounge have sent me some absolutely STUNNING pieces from their new SS12 collection. it’s absolutely beautiful and I cannot wait to get wearing my new pieces. I’m thinking my new sequin detail blouse will be perfect for my Thursday cocktail night :)
Oh, and what do you think of my outfit? This is my amazing Primark bargain blazer. Can you believe it? Such a good find.
