As luck goes I don’t suppose I’ve done all that badly this week so far, not only have I got my IOW tickets for next weekend I’ve now gone an won the WIWT style competition for an invite to the Richard Branson Wimbledon launch party at Kensington Roof Gardens – which by the way, is so Chelsea it’s devine. So whilst this weekend is rather relaxed, Thursday onwards next week is going to be most spectacular. Now more importantly, I have a fab excuse to buy myself a new dress.
. AX Paris Floral Peplum Dress £30 (C/O) . Marni H&M Heels . Primark Necklace .
. Acessorize Gold Buckle Belt . Dainty Roses Brown Gem Ring (C/O).
As fortune would have it, I have also just been sent this gorgeous peplum dress from AX Paris, which I must say is amazing. I love the fit of this dress and the peplum is so pretty but actually still quite subtle which I like. My figure is feminine, as in I have boobs, a waist, hips and a butt, so this dress is probably a great match for me. Peplums on me, need to remain quite subtle, anything too big and I’ll look like a hippy (in the large hip sense) victorian queen. This dress so far is top on my option list for the event this Thursday too :)
There are a couple of other dresses I’ve got my eye on, but mostly I am after something that’s relatively dressy (as It’s my first opportunity in a little while to get glammed up) but also smart and chic as after all I’m going to mingling with the celebrity worlds finest.
Despite inflicting myself with a ‘loose’ spending ban since buying my Mulberry last Saturday, I’m going to go shopping today to begin my dress hunt. First stop River Island as i’ve been admiring this dress for months and think it’s perfect, AND in the sale.
Let me know if you see any dresses you think I could wear for the event Thursday, also, what do you think of this super pretty AX Paris dress?
