As a youngster anything gold was bleugh, and chavy in my mind. But as I’ve got older, and trends and times have changed, gold to me now is just stunning & fabulous. Funny how things change. Just like hating gin, red wine and olives as a teenager, only to adore them as an adult. I personally feel that touches of gold can add an element of elegance and class & just make you look and feel fabulous. Today’s outfit is subtly gold touched.

This is an outfit I wore to work on Friday, and despite being jeans and a blouse, the gold detailing on the Virgos Lounge Moss blouse, the Gold buttons on my Zara fantasy jacket & the gold studs on my Mulberry Holly, do, in my opinion, add a little oomph to an otherwise potentially plain look.
I’ve had this Moss blouse for a while now and I absolutely love how ‘special’ it is. None of that plain malarkey, this blouse is a statement and always dresses up a casual jeans look. I wear this blouse a lot when I want to feel a bit more glam, it gives you an instant pick me up. I actually went out for dinner Friday night for a friends birthday and swapped my jeans for Disco pants which dressed it up a little more too (annoyingly didn’t photograph it).
Today is a busy day for me, I have work as normal, but also will be popping along to the Sugarhill Boutique AW press day at the Charlotte Street Hotel (LOVE it there) & this evening I’m out for dinner with a friend.
AND on a very separate note, last night I tried out Lauren’s way tan, I’ll save the details of this experience for my review, but top line, I was VERY impressed with it’s ease of application, lightness, and coverage / colour. A new St Tropez for me.

Fabulous look darling – I’m such a fan of Virgos Lounge! In fact I’m waiting on some pieces to come from there. Like you I also used to share the same opinion on gold items…and olives too! And it’s all changed now I’ve gotten older. As for red wine..well I’m not quite there yet – still a Rose drinker.
