Minty Fresh - Mediamarmalade

Hello lovely readers, today is the first ‘proper’ day of my scheduled posts, I bloomin’ hope they all run as planned & that you don’t all desert me whilst i’m swanning around in the sun ;) The posts I have lined up for you whilst I am away are fairly varied and a pretty solid mix of fashion & beauty. But kicking today off with my ‘usual’ I have a little outfit to share with you all.

This outfit is one I wore the other weekend whilst on a cycling day out with Jase. Yes I know, keeping it cool whilst sweating it out. We hit the road / cycle track to ride from Bristol to Bath (bathhampton to be precise). For those of you who don’t know, this is far enough to make your arse hurt like crazy. Quite naturally we stopped at every pub we passed and all in all it was a total hoot. Needless to say I didn’t quite last for the cycle home, and got a lift instead ;)

This outfit is so comfy & perfect for an active day out where sports kit isn’t quite required. The shorts are a H&M find from a few months ago and I fell in love with their minty colour tones. I teamed them with my green H&M sandals (yes, I do own these in every colour, ahem) & a very casual tunic. To finish the look was non over than a fail safe denim jacket, these things make the perfect ‘half way” jacket. Oh and not forgetting my pink Zara necklace … have you had enough of that yet?
