September 13, 2012

Wow, it’s surprisingly hard after 2 weeks to get back into a routine. The last 2 weeks have been the first time in 7 months+ that I haven’t been on my blog daily so it’s been a little shock to the system getting into the flow of things again. I’ve also been very busy, it was my first day back at work yesterday and after a 8pm finish and a 9pm walk home in torrential rain i’m already wishing I was back on holiday.

I grabbed an early night last night as I had a big 9am presentation this morning … but I did get a little chance to check out my holiday pictures … 545 in total. Crazy Girl. I was hoping to be able to get my holiday outfits up and some pics up on my blog straight away but I have so damned many that It’s going to take a little time to shuffle through them all I think. Anyway as I haven’t got holiday pics to share today I’ve decided instead to show you a new jumper I purchased from Zara before I left for my holiday.
Typically prior going on a 2 week summer holiday I ended up having an autumn clothing shopping spree. But It was nice to come home to a bag of new clothes … like Christmas all over again :). So I hadn’t intended on shopping pre holiday, but as usual this failed. I ended up buying a fair few bits, a pair of acid wash denim jeans (Topshop £40 reduced to THIRTEEN POUNDS), a Zara blouse in the sale (pale pink with gold studs) and this new AW Zara button jumper. I also bought a lovely lace bra from Accessorize too, not my usual type of purchase but I fell in love with its simplicity and lived in it on holiday.
. Zara Jeans £35 & Jumper £20 . Mulberry Holly . H&M Sandals .
So this jumper was a total bargain in my opinion, £20 from the TRF collection. Absolute no brainer. It’s buttoned up the back which I think is massively cute and it’s actually very slightly dip hem which adds a nice little touch to it. I would have liked it to be a little longer (as I’m so used to long tops right now) but actually really liked it styled with a casual pair of skinny jeans and sandals. I’m also going to be living in this jumper now that I have a tan :) … I will show you soon in my holiday pics I PROMISE :D
Do you like this new Zara knit I’ve invested in? I’d also be super keen to hear what you thought of the scheduled posts I did and also know if you’d like to see holiday snaps?

I honestly think this investment knit is worth it. Neutral colour and so versatile. I’m jealous! I wish I could pull off jumpers as well as you :)
