Outfit

For All My Faith

October 22, 2012

I’m back in the UK today and extremely tired after a whirl wind adventure trying to get home from Oslo last night. I did come home to a few nice packages which is a bit of a bonus. I’m back at work today, but also am going to view my dream car at lunch time, so i’ll keep you posted on how that all goes.

Today’s post is an outfit number, and features my new obsession dress.
I’ve always loved Motel Rocks, usually admiring their ‘going out’ dresses and gorgeous prints. However I’ve found something else to love about the brand with their AW collection – the day dresses. I received this dress a little while ago, and after waiting to change it for a smaller size, I finally got to wear it last week.

. Motel Rocks Laynie Baby Doll Dress £48 (c/o) . KG Boots (old) . Topshop Leather Jacket (old) .

I absolutely love the subtle design (e.g. floaty black LBD) but what really makes it is the intricate details – the cross beading & see through chiffon material on the top section of the dress. I styled it really simply with my KG stud boots & leather jacket, the dress has a bit of an edgy vibe so I wanted to accentuate this in my styling.

I’ve also worn it to work with a black top underneath, tights, wedges and a blazer. So it’s really versatile and I’m getting tons of wear out of it.

What do you think of my outfit and how I’ve styled my motel rocks dress? How would you wear it?

Hiya, first of all, let me start by saying that i love your sense of style and that i like pretty much all of the outfits that you’ve posted so far but have you considered buying your foundation just on or two shades lighter ? I really hope I’m not offending you by asking but it bugs me a tiny bit.
      xx

      Hi Marmalade,

You can never go wrong with an LBD! The accents are what make it amazing! And who doesn’t love a floaty dress!

      Great post!
