Before I went away on holiday to Greece I had a little shopping spree in H&M, I hadn’t been in for ages and the store in Covent Garden by my work is quite literally THE best H&M. I decided to take a peak in store and headed straight to the top floor – where all the best bits are. I immediately fell in love with a couple of AW pieces, I loved the embroidery material themes & the metalic autumnal colourings in the collection so instantly snapped up a few items.
This skirt was the first thing I knew I had to have, a metallic sea green embroided pencil skirt – could any more amazing things come together in one item? I think not. This skirt is such an amazing blend of colour and material it was love at first sight for me. It’s very fitted and as it’s a statement item, I decided a simple black vest top and heels would be all it needed.

The other item I picked up is a body con embroidered dress, with black side panelling. Similar to the ‘figure flattering’ dual coloured panel body cons, but this time the middle section (e.g. the bit that creates the hour glass shaping) is a grey marl embroidered material. I absolutely love it and am just dying to find a reason to wear it :)
Today i’m chilling out, having a little shop (with a secret wish that I find the River Island leather fit & flare dress) & then this evening going to my friends for some vino & curry for her birthday.

I love your skirt and I do like the metallics trend,
but it’s very tricky becaus it needs to be combined
carefully so that the outfit doesn’t look too trashy.
