So here comes my second ever ‘Project Take 10’ post – I have to say I’m still absolutely loving this & so pleased to be a part of the team. For my second project we’re working with high street store Next, celebrating their 30th Anniversary (pretty good eh) by sporting our fave picks from their Anniversary collection (feat 30 key AW pieces).
It didn’t take me all of 2 seconds to fall in love with this leather jacket and decide it was the ‘one’ for me. And boy it didn’t leave me disappointed. This leather jacket is real leather for starts, and a really lovely cut. It’s feminine with it’s fitted waist and hip shape, but edgy with it’s bold shoulders and crinkled elbow pads. It’s also maroon, which is a new one for me, but actually a colour I was really keen to try out, I already have a black leather jacket which I live in, but I’m really glad I now have a brown one, as I think they create a totally different look.

I decided to wear my leather jacket with my tan leather acton boots from Topshop, despite the fact they’re different shades of brown, i’m not sure it matters all that much (Or does it, I’m useless at colour coordination). As the jacket & the boots are pretty statement I decided to just wear a super simple LBD & plain gold necklace with it. Overall I really love the look.
