As you may well have noticed, I am absolutely loving this sequin skirt. I’ve worn it so much recently, and it makes me feel uber festive. Despite the fact it’s technically quite glam and OTT, I have been finding loads of ways to dress it down in quite a subtle day / evening look.
This was something I wore at the weekend and didn’t want to ever take off. This sequin skirt has received so much wear since I got it. I’ve worn it a million different ways and this weekend I decided to wear it with a casual, but still quite glitzy / Christmassy top – naturally I also wore it with my mega AX Paris chelsea boots which I am also living in ALL. THE. TIME.This top is actually about 2 years old from Zara, I used to wear it all the time with leggings and little ankle boots as it’s a really chilled casual look, but I thought I’d dress it up a little more this weekend and I like how it looks with the sequin skirt.

It’s definitely gold over load but I quite enjoy it – and what other time of year can you get away with it? This is why I love Christmas so much, it gives you every excuse under the sun to do all the things you usually think you shouldn’t – wear sequins at every opportunity, eat your body weight in chocolate before breakfast, spend a hell of a lot of money shopping. every. single. day, drink way too much red wine, oh and mulled wine … oh wait and eat too many Bratwursts. Generally just be merry all the damn time. Hooray.
