Outfit

It’s Just One Of Those Things

February 27, 2013

Todays outfit is an absolute favourite of mine, you know the sort of outfit that you wish you could just wear every day. Easy, comfy and looks nice PLUS makes you feel good. This dress is one of my most recent obsessions and is a great example of my complete frivolity and idiotic purchasing.
I actually bought this dress EIGHT times, purely because I really wanted it, but it was sold out, so every time it came back on line in any colour or size I just bought it – clearly having an insane day. What I really wanted was this Navy version in a size 8, but ended up with a navy in a 6 which was actually perfect because the dress clearly comes up slightly oversized as this fits perfectly.

. ASOS Jacquard Smock Dress £38 . Zara Leopard Boots £80 . Anthropologie Fedora £50 .
. Accessorize Necklace £18 (old) .
I’ve worn this dress a lot since I bought it, styled up for LFW with my Zara jacket and more casually for the weekend and work etc. It looks great with pumps and a leather jacket, or heels and a blazer. It’s so versatile and is the perfect smock dress in my opinion. I’ve been searching for the perfect effortless but chic smock dress for months now and I’m so glad I’ve finally got this one in my wardrobe.

What do you think of this smock dress? Do you have any items like this that are just totally perfect in your mind? I’d also love to here how you’d style something like this?

What a great dress Mel! You can’t beat such an effortless piece which can be dressed up or down plus the colour is spot on.
