Wahhh, prepare yourself for a colour burst. POW POW POW. This Lashes of London dress is probably the most perfect summer dress in terms of giving your outfit a bold colour punch. The white crochet detailing is perfect for tanned skin and summer days, but the neon yellow under tones make this dress punchy, for a bold, bright summer look.
This dress was waiting for me when I got home from Egypt after a week of winter sun, so gave me a great excuse to show off my tan (Ahem – seriously weirdly burnt legs). The dress is a really loose, oversized shift style design (which I actually wasn’t expecting from the website), but makes for a really casual, effortless style which will be perfect for sunny weekends or holidays.
I found the dress quite short, but think I maybe need to iron it out a bit to give it a bit more structure and hopefully length too.

Because the dress is so punchy and colourful, I decided to max out my colourful accessories with this look and go all out zingy colours. I added my amazing Anthropologie blue watch, which I bought in NYC lsat year but sadly haven’t worn yet (it’s more of a summer watch I feel), and my neon pink necklace from Zara went perfectly adding another colour to the mix. The final touch, as always, was my Brit-Stitch satchel which finishes off the casual, summer look off to a T. I added my new Castana sandals from Stanwells rerun to this look, but in the summer, to really make the look casual, i’d probably add some tan or pink flat sandals to complete the look.
