Wondering Seven Dials

As today is the official end of the bank holiday weekend, and most us poor sods are heading back to work (I myself cleverly tee’d the whole week off work before I start my new job on Monday), I thought today’s outfit post should be a ‘back to work’ inspired look, and is something I wore to work before I went away on holiday.

This is also the outfit I wore to the French Connection Event (see here), as I went straight from work across to the event. I also had a breakfast meeting in the Covent Garden Hotel (hence the Seven Dials location) and this made a great transition outfit. This outfit is great for a smart but chic work look, or a sophisticated night out. I got the dress from AX Paris, and it is one of my favourite items from their range for sure. It’s so simple, and the high neck makes the smock dress a little more chic and classic. It’s become a real fave dress of mine.

Today I am having a bit of a luxurious lady of leisure day as I’m travelling home and taking my mum for a special afternoon tea at one of the local mannor houses in hampshire. I can’t wait for all the tasty treats and to spoil my mum. Then tonight I’m catching up with one of my dearest friends AND then tomorrow Jase and I have a little night away booked at a Spa in Ascot / Windsor. So a very luxury coulpe of days are in the pipeline for me :) 

I’m wearing my new H&M dress today with my fedora, so I’ll get some snaps of the outfit and share them on here in the next few days too.
