Swing Low Sweet Chariot

Today’s outfit is in honor of it being Friday – hooray. I love this outfit for it’s simplicity but chic-ness. The dress is a fairly new item from MeeMee.com but is a real fave of mine right now. I love the simple style of it, and think it makes a great slinky evening out look for the weekend or a Friday night dinner date.

I’m a huge fan of the simple spaghetti straps on this dress and the low cut delicate back details, it makes for a really subtly LBD, nothing too OTT for clingy. Styled with a simple blazer or leather jacket  it makes a great date night outfit. I styled the dress with my fedora and Marni heels, making for a dressy evening look. But I’ve also worn the dress to work with a blazer and wedges – albiet it probably was a little too short (oops). I need to get my mum to take the hem down for me.

Hooray for the weekend, at the moment I feel like i’m really living for my ‘time out’ Friday – Sunday as work is quite demanding right now. Jase and I have been having some fun filled weekends lately but this weekend we’re hoping to have a pretty chilled out couple of days, lapping up some rays (fingers crossed for sunshine). We also may be heading to a BBQ party on Saturday which would be fun.
