. THE WEST COUNTRY .
This time last week Jase and I headed back to Bristol for his birthday weekend and spent the Saturday with his family picking strawberry’s out in the country side at Chosen Hill farm. Followed by a tasty lunch and a cup of tea in the local pub. Unfortunately due to the extreme weather most of the fruit has passed it’s best, but we had a fun time strolling the fields nonetheless.

This cute little pooch was roaming the farm, ruling his roost :) We also saw tons and tons of palettes, my mum and sister are totally obsessed with palettes (they’re very into their DIY and home craft), sadly we couldn’t take any home for them as we had no space, but they were laying around in abundance.

We managed to get a few goo dens and spent Sunday making strawberry and raspberry tarts with our pickings. We actually came to the farm the year before and managed to collect tons of fresh fruit, I even blogged about it HERE.

I wasn’t really dressed for the occasion but was desperate to wear my new James Jeans (featured here) and my new Gestuz jacket. I’ll be doing a ful outfit post on the look shortly, so keep your eyes peeled. It was a lovely day out, followed by an evening out in Bristol. We had dinner at the Thali Cafe, a really cute, unique indian restaurant and then spent the evening lounging in the Hyde and Co drinking bespoke cocktails and testing our their award winning smoking cocktail concoction.
Have you been strawberry picking before? Are their any locations in the south west you’d recommend?

Strawberry picking looks like great fun! Your photos are beautiful!
