. HOLIDAY READING .
Seeing as i’m on holiday this week and will be spending 7 glorious days chilling out, unwinding, eating, drinking and doing absolutely no thinking, I thought it’d be a pertinent time to share my holiday ‘unwind kit’ with you all.
Naturally I’ll be filling my suitcase with magazines for the trip. This has to be my number one holiday essential … spending all my time catching up on my favourite magazines that i don’t otherwise get the time to read. Vogue, Elle, InStyle, Company, Grazia and Look being my absolute must reads.
As mentioned in a post last week (here) I recently invested in a brand new ipad mini – which I absolutely love love love. I’m so pleased with my investment and have stocked it full of stuff to keep me busy on holiday. Breaking Bad & my favourite movies will keep me entertained on my flight to and from Turkey, and tons of games and reading will be joining me on the beach every day. I’ve never read books on a tablet before – in fact i’ve never been for it at all (books through and through for me) but now I have a flash new gadget I thought I may as well give it a go. My iPad will also help me keep on top of my blog and all your lovely blogs while i’m away. I’ve managed to schedule posts for the week so I can seriously relax and not have to worry about blogging, but I do still like to check on my blog and have a little catch up on all my favourite bloggers posts which I’ll be able to do in the evenings before we head out :)
The final holiday essential are my tinted Rayban glasses … not just there to help protect from the sun, but also there to help me see. These beauts are from MyOptique (the sister brand to the Sunglassesshop) and are prescription sunglasses – something you’d never think of, but always wish you owned. MyOptique is a prescription sunglasses online store which stocks all the best designer brands. I was lucky enough to receive these glasses as a gift and have to say I think the whole sentiment behind the brand is fab. I opted for a tinted pair as I thought these would come in seriously handy on summer holidays and driving in the summer.
What do you think of my holiday essentials? What else do you take on holiday for entertainment?
