TAKING IT ONE STEP AT A TIME

. ACID PENNY DRESS .
Well it sounds as though we have a storm heading our way this weekend, but before the rain falls down and we submit ourselves to dressing gowns, hot chocolate and a cosy fire I thought i’d give summer one last hoorah with this duck egg blue penny dress.

it’s funny when you buy something and love it so much that you just end up buying it again in a different colour. That’s what happened with this little number. After buying my denim penny dress earlier in the year and wearing it to death, when Motel treated me to a little item from the new Autumn  collection I decided to top up my Penny dress collection with this acid wash / blue / grey tone.

I have to say this version of the Penny is a LOT shorter than my denim version, which is a shame really but nothing a serious amount of ironing can’t help with. Funny how that happens sometimes with sizes right? I loved the colour of this dress and thought it would be a great item to take into Autumn / Winter, cosying it up with chunky tights and a big knit cardigan. But before that, I decided to give it a little summer styling with my old school tan wedge brogues.
As I mentioned a little while back, i’ve been having some photography issues which are hopefully sorted now, but it does mean a few of my outfit pictures (like this one) are annoyingly a little blurred out / not as crisp as usual.
