Being on holiday has given me a great excuse to give my summer wardrobe one last blast before I truly do have to succumb to winter warmers top to toe. This laid back, relatively parisian inspired summer look has been a real fave of mine this year. Perfect for a relaxed yet chic daytime look, it’s my best attempt at being French.

The shorts are actually a really old pair which I picked up in Topshop probably about two years ago, but despite the fact these are old school, they’re still a real fave of mine and this summer I gave them a good few outings. Most of all styled with this crop breton tee …

Aside from the hat, this entire outfit is all Topshop, Topshop over the years. I love breton tops and this cropped version was the perfect tee to style with my high waisted shorts. These shorts are a little ‘grandpa’ esque and so this top brings the shorts back on trend. I wore the look with my favourite heeled sandals & added a touch of chic with my Anthropologie fedora. It’s a favourite summer outfit of mine and it’s great for BBQ’s, work, Summer holidays or just a chilled out weekend.
