Outfit

A FORM OF ART

December 2, 2013

. GLOUCESTER ROAD .

I’ve been saving this outfit post up for a while, it’s a little number I wore back in October whilst in Bristol for the weekend. Jase and I took a trip to Gloucester Road for some brunch when I came across this amazing graffiti wall which made for the perfect back drop. The look was also part of the October project take 10, so you may have seen that little teaser a few weeks back.

. Missguided Tartan Midi Skirt . Warehouse Knitted Jumper . Topshop Leather Jacket .
. CIS Ankle Boots . Prada Saffiano Bag .

This look encompases some of my favourite Autumn trends … tartan, forest green knits and black ankle boots. You’ll have probably noticed these trends spread across my blog over the last few weeks, but this outfit includes it all. The tartan midi skirt is a gem find from Missguided, an absolute bargain and a really easy way of embracing a vibrant print trend. The knitted jumper is a cropped but super cosy Warehouse number which has become one of my staple knits this winter. It’s super cosy, and I just love the colour. The finishing touch is a pair of ankle boots … these boots are my CIS ankle boots which I got as part of the latest project take 10 collaboration (you can see the feature here).
What do you think of this look and the key autumn trends i’m currently coveting?

Love this outfit Mel, you look amazing. And the backdrop is great. Bristol has some really cool graffiti doesn’t it. I was down this weekend and went out with my camera like a proper tourist. Haha! xx

      Sweet Monday
