. HAMPSTEAD .
As I mentioned on my blog after the New Year, Jase and I have made a little pact to explore more of London venture away from our favourite places and explore the other parts of London we’ve not yet been too. Last weekend this saw us travel to Hampstead, a London village which I quite literally fell in love with & could happily live if I ever moved away from South West London. So this post is dedicated to our trip & is a collection of my favourite snaps from the day.

Inspired from our trip last weekend, yesterday we ventured to East London to see what it had to offer … sadly after an hour and a half on the partly closed tubes, a 40 minute walk around the arse end of nowhere trying to find Victoria Park Village & Broadway market, little findings in terms of cafes & stores and the most bizarre microclimate storm, we decided to call it a day and make the ridiculous venture home. We felt sadly defeated, a bit gutted that our trip was an all round fail (and I have my sister up to stay so we planned to make a real outing of it) & slightly less favoured to the East of the city. It may have been a dodgy day to go, a disadvantage that travelling from West to East is such a pain, or just that we had such high hopes from our hugely successful trip the weekend before. Regardless … exploring isn’y all about finding the magical places like Hampstead, but we’ll keep on with our weekend trips, but maybe next time do a little more research first.
Have you been to Hampstead? What did you think? Where are your favourite places to visit in London?
Such cute little streets! Absolutely adorable!

Great post! I used to live in Hampstead, the village is so lovely and having the vast heath on my doorstep was just magical.
I’ve never visited there, I’ve only been to London 3 times, it’s that town you visited is so delightfully British! I love the photos you took =)

Great photos, they’re making me homesick! I’ll have to make a point of exploring the city more when I get back as I normally stick to the more central areas :) would love to have more of a wander around the Dalston area!
